Every good thing can be abused, and alcohol is no exception. Although most people are able to enjoy the fruits of the grape and the quality of their lives is enriched by good wine, not a few are destroyed by it!
Millions of people in the world are alcoholics—myself included. I did not want to be alcoholic, but I am. My life and relationships were slowly being destroyed by alcohol. I had to stop drinking to find happiness.
God can be appreciated in the grape and can just as easily be experienced in a soda. I must find healthy new ways to be happy.
Thank You for the precious gift of choice.
