It costs me nothing to say hello, yet it can make a difference to my neighbor. It costs me nothing to give a hug, yet a hug can make a difference to a friend. It costs me nothing to listen to people’s pain, yet listening can make a difference to them.
Love is found in small, ordinary acts of kindness, as well as extravagant gestures. I seek God in the everyday happenings of life alongside the religious events. Spirituality is in the smile that is real!
Today I know I give as much as I receive, and I receive a great deal. People love me enough to be patient, they care enough to phone, and they encourage me with gentle words of hope. I am in the flow.
You created the wondrous fabric of life. May I find You in its smallest detail.
